Cora Yu is a Chinese Canadian musician specializing in Guzheng and Guqin, two of the ancient Chinese instruments dating back to 2500-5000 years ago. 

Growing up in Hangzhou, China, Cora Yu received rigorous training and was recognized as the "close-door disciple" of late Guqin and Guzheng master Xiaoying Xu. Her playing style distinctively reflects that of the Zhe school Guqin and Guzheng art. It is described as emotional, soothing and delicate.

Holding a teaching and a performance certificate from the Central Conservatory of Music of China, she now teaches from her studios in Richmond and Vancouver, BC, and regularly performs for various community and corporate functions in BC, Canada.
